| لعبة تعليمية:Word Wizard لعبة مسلية لاختبار سرعتك في تذكر الكلمات الإنكليزية ![]() Getting started In Spellbound mode lay out words on the board, attempting to hit the percentage needed to move on to the next level. Blackout mode is a single level game where you get as many words as possible. Solve 100%, you get a 10,000 point bonus! In either mode, you start the game with 7 letters in the upper right tile tray. You can use these letters to create words on the board below. Your first word can be placed anywhere on the board, but all words after that have to be linked together. When you have your words laid out, hit the 'Submit' button to score them. You can lay out more than one word in a single turn. Completing a level in Spellbound mode On the left side there is a list of every word that can be made out of the seven letters in the tile tray. Each word laid out that solves one of the covered words on the left counts towards completing the level. The score board on the upper left shows what % of the words you need to complete to move on to the next level. Each level gets more difficult with: 1) More obscure 7 letter words 2) Greater numbers of words (the board will get very crowded) 3) Greater percentage of the possible words Placing letters You can place letters by left clicking on the tile and, while holding the button down, dragging it to the desired location. A faster way to place multiple tiles is to place the first one as described above then 'flipping out' the remaining letters. To flip a tile, click on it and quickly release the mouse button. A left button click will place it in the first open spot to the right of the last tile you placed. A right click will place it in the first open spot below the last tile you placed. Removing letters Click the 'CLEAR' button and all the tiles will return to the tile tray, or click on a single tile and it will return on its own. Once a tile has been scored (submitted) it cannot be removed. Bonus combo words These are words that are made up by using a tile already on the board in addition to the 7 you have in the tray. As an example, you have only one 'D' in your seven letters, but playing off another 'D' on the board, you spell 'DAD'. This is a bonus word. You get the points, but it does not count towards completing the level. Seven letter word clue This gives you a (vague) clue as to what the 7-letter word is. You get a 2000-point bonus for getting it laid out on the board. Spellbound mode Spellbound mode allows you to progress from easy levels to hard levels by hitting the 'Needed' percentage of words for each level. There are 20 levels in all, but the words will be different each time you play. There are four thousand seven letter word families in all. If you find yourself wishing you could stay at each level longer, perhaps Blackout mode is more your style. Blackout mode Blackout mode is about solving a single puzzle. Every game is solvable, but the wizard levels can be very difficult. About a fourth of the four thousand seven letter word families can fit 100% of the words on the board (solvable). Only those that are solvable are offered in Blackout mode, so there are about one thousand Blackout mode puzzles. Scoring big points 1) Solve the 7-letter words; they give you an extra 2000 points. Get all words listed on the left and get a extra 10,000 points! 2) Lay out multiple short words in a single turn. Creating two 3-letter words in two turns is worth 120 points, two 3-letter words in a single turn is worth 210 points. Getting through levels 1) Lay out the longest words first. This spreads you out all over the board and will open up many short word opportunities for later. 2) Lay out a grid first then fill in later. This will open up 'free letters' for you to build off of later in the game. 3) Avoid lockouts. This is when you have a large section of the board that does not have any access to new words. Lots of short words together can cause this. Don't like our dictionary? We have over 100,000 words in our dictionary and it is one of the most complete English word lists available. If you have words you think should be added or removed go to: www.bigfishgames.com/wordlist System Requirements The requirements aere very low and should run on most any system. Minimum reccomended is: - 200 Mhz CPU - 32MB RAM - 6MB free disk space - sound card |
