كشف أحدث استطلاعات الرأي الذي أجرته مؤسسة Ponemon عبر الهاتف مؤخرًا والذي شمل أكثر من 1000 مستخدم من مستخدمي الإنترنت، عن أن 77% من متصفحي شبكة الويب لا يعلمون إن شركة غوغل تسجل وتحتفظ بمعلومات تدل على هويتهم الشخصية. وقد جاء هذا الاستطلاع إثر تصاعد الأحداث الأسبوع الماضي بعد أن طالبت الإدارة الأمريكية شركة غوغل بتسليم قاعدة بيانات مستخدميها.
يذكر أن شركة غوغل تحتفظ بملف كوكيز (ملف تعريف الارتباط) دائم لن تنتهي صلاحيته قبل عام 2038 بهدف تسجيل عنوان IP الخاص بالمستخدم. لكن في الآونة الأخيرة، لم يكتفي ملف الكوكيز بتسجيل عنوان IP فقط، حيث بدأ في انتهاج بعض الآليات التي تحتفظ بسجل كامل لعمليات البحث التي يقوم بها المستخدم وعمليات بريده الإلكتروني وعاداته التسوقية والأشخاص الذين يتصل بهم.
لكن يبدو أن الأحداث الأخيرة كانت سببا في زيادة ثقة المستخدمين في شركة غوغل حيث قال 56% ممن شملهم الاستطلاع أنهم لا يعتقدون أن شركة غوغل ستمد الحكومة بمعلوماتهم الشخصية. فهل ستصمد غوغل للنهاية؟

ومازالت جوجول صامدة وترفض أية إفصاح عن المعلومات
