Baker_Hughes_INTEQ FLUID_Wellsite_Geology

Introduction
The purpose of this reference guide is to outline and describe the duties and
responsibilities of a Wellsite Geologist. In addition, it will provide a
detailed series of guidelines and procedures which are followed by
Wellsite Geologists during their stay at the wellsite. This will enable the
maximum amount of data to be obtained, the data recorded concisely and
then communicated in a timely manner to the responsible personnel.
The Wellsite Geologist is commonly in charge of all geological services at
the wellsite and any geologically-related aspects while the well is being
drilled. They must assimilate this data rapidly in order to provide assistance
to the drilling operations and to incorporate data into the locally prepared
geologic model.
