Signs are presented via 300 colour illustrations, each accompanied by 50-word explanatory captions. It is ideal for medical students during their paediatric course, which is so short they are unlikely to see a representative selection of conditions from the ward.Increasingly students are assessed with OSCE-style tests that include picture quizzes.
