Although there are thousands of genetic defects that could, in principle, be treated with gene therapy, only a small percentage are considered practical candidates for this type of treatment. Diseases that qualify for gene therapy are debilitating disorders that affect more than 1 percent of the population, the conventional treatments for which are ineffective, costly, or difficult to administer. I am happy to see any book in our library, even if it is advanced, specialized or not related to our interest, but you will find someone who need this book and benifit from it. This book is a good example for what I mentioned, despite it is advanced and specialized for those who work in genetics and immunotherapies, but this book is good and one day we will find someone benifit from it.
