| Momentum, Heat, and Mass Transfer Fundamentals Momentum, Heat, and Mass Transfer Fundamentals Rating: 1 The focus of this book is on the mathematics of transport phenomena with little regard to applications or accessibility to students. A broad range of topics are condensed into a single book that reads like the hastily prepared lecture notes of the professors. The poor quality of the typesetting, figures and illustrations is frustrating - making the reading process painfully arduous. This is probably the last book I would turn to for information on the subjects listed in the title (most of which is better covered in the 1960's classic Transport Phenomena by Bird, et. al.).  |
