You only need solutions for American books mainly.

The good british books have GRADUAL and GRADED problems so its like climibing stairs step by step.

You should always solve problems yourself if you can.

The american books are bad. Many books have very WILD problems. There are many where the problems
are of research level. Some problems require you to go and read advanced papers. You may want the
solutions in that case. But you must think first and think very hard.

Brain only get strong by exercise.
