i need answer :

what is the maximum and minimum data rate at which a user can transmit data on GSM system?

in GSM phase 1 there are two traffic channels:
full-rate TCH with 22.8 kbit/s
half-rate TCH with 11.4 kbit/s
and the rate has been enhanced in phase 2(GPRS) and EDGE
i think the theoretical rate in EDGE is 473 kbit/s
